Electric Plasma Lung Cancer Treatment

By Nathaniel D. Taylor

What is the future of cancer treatment? Electric plasma has been used industrially for probably 100 years but only in the last 15 years has it been discovered for its great potential in the medical field for a wide variety of applications.

Korea is one of the world’s leaders in high tech device development. Using methods learned in the creation of plasma display panels, new devices are being developed to treat cancer. Similar technology that goes into plasma TVs can be developed to generate non-thermal electric plasma devices for the medical field.

Throughout Korea and around the world, research labs are working to develop new treatments for cancer using electric plasma. Traditional methods of cancer treatment rely heavily on the use of pharmaceuticals as well as other invasive treatments like surgery and radiation. Plasma has the potential to selectively reduce cancer cells without additional chemicals. Continue reading
